REVIEW – I’ve been wearing stiff, boring leather belts for quite some time. I had a chance to mix things up a bit and add a dash of style with the Arcade Belts Adventure series.
What is it?
Arcade Belts Adventure series belts are made of 85% post-consumer recycled polyester and feature a no-hole, custom fit. Machine washable and travel friendly (no metal buckles)
Hardware specs
- One size fits most (OSFA), up to 40″ (101.6cm)
Belt width – 1.5″ (3.81cm)
Arcade Belts suggests that for waist sizes over 36″, check out the Adventure Long belt, which fits up to 50″.
Design and features
I chose this tropical Island Collection pattern.
The buckle is very, very thin, which is great if you prefer a low profile look. If you travel a lot, this belt has no metal which makes airport security a little easier.
I dislike flappy, loose belt ends! The loose end is actually on the INSIDE of the belt (not visible from the outside) and there’s actually an elastic keeper to tame that loose end.
The first thing I noticed about the belt is finding the right length can take some trial and error. Since there are no holes, you have to slide the ends until you get the length you want. Then there’s the elasticity: How snug do you want it? I thought this was annoying until I wore it more.
Performance
As it turns out, the “stretchy” characteristics make the Adventure Belt ridiculously comfortable. If you can’t wear sweatpants to a giant dinner, this is the belt you want to grab. There are at least 24 different designs, so there’s bound to be one that suits you.
What I like
- 24 different designs
- Low-profile buckle
- Stretchy
What I’d change
- Offer different widths if 1-1/2″ doesn’t work for your pants.
Final thoughts
The Arcade Adventure belt has found a home on my jeans. If I get bored with this pattern, there are 23 more to choose from!

This looks pretty interesting to me, although I was a little concerned about the size being wider than I usually wear. When I clicked on the Amazon link, one of the first belts listed on the Arcade page was “The Original Slim Unisex Belt” that is only 1.25″ wide. So they do offer at least one different size. Now I just have to decide if Santa wants to bring me one for Christmas!
