NEWS – Why use a Sharpie marker as is when you can turn it into a super marker with the Dango Permanent Marker. It’s basically a sleeve and cap for a Sharpie marker that is made of CNC machined 6061 aerospace grade aluminum and stainless steel and features a simple design. Just slide the marker into the empty sleeve and replace the existing cap with the Dango cap which has a clip that doubles as a box opener. You can grab a Dango Permanent Marker (one Sharpie fine point marker is included) in silver or black for $39 from Dango.

On one hand, its’ pretty safe because it doesn’t seem sharp. On the other hand, it might not cut well because it doesn’t seem sharp.
I think it would work about the same as using a car key (which I’ve done before) to open a box.
My Keyport MOCA works a lot better than a key for opening boxes.
Why would anyone pay $39 for a sharpie and a box opener?
The box opener function looks OK and the tool overall is cool looking. But why would I need a Sharpie as part of a box opener?
Ever work in Shipping at a factory? This is exactly for the person who opens and marks cardboard boxes EVERY DAY for work. A little something to make that task feel “special”. What’s wrong with you people? It’s a decent price as well, just wish they made Titanium.
I have had one of these for 6 months. Very handy and have made it so I don’t lose my marker, put lanyard on it. Very good for opening boxes without carrying knife.
