NEWS – If you’re a slow drinker like I am, then you know the sorrow of taking a sip from a flat can of soda. The Jokari Fizz-Keeper caps claim to repressurize your partially full cans so you can enjoy the rest of your beverage later, fizz and all. They even say it will keep the drink fresh for weeks.
The Jokari Fizz-Keeper is made of plastic and features a snap-on design with a hinged lid that has a pump built into the top. Just put the frame over the can’s rim, snap down the lid and press the pump a few times to add pressure to the remaining beverage in the can. The Fizz-Keepers come 3 to a set and are priced at $19.99 on Amazon where they have both good and not-so-good reviews. Maybe I need to buy a set and do a review? What do you think?

Looks like something that should have “As Seen on TV” on the package, being sold with the rest of the junk by the registers at Walmart and Target.
I had those years ago. It does an okay job of keeping the pop fresh for a bit. It’s the same as screwing a cap back on a bottle. It will still go flat eventually. You have to pump more than “a few” times to get it to really pressurize. I found them for much cheaper at an As Seen on TV store in the mall by my house.
And the fizz actually comes via injection of CO2, not just air, so I don’t see this working well.
Yes, you need CO2 for this to work. It’s just a gimmick.
Does it work for beer?
