NEWS – Sorry (not sorry) for the title pun. The Cache River (weird name right?) from James Brand is a multi-tool that puts three bits in a pocket-friendly form factor. Made from Anodized 6061 Aluminum, the Cache River features a magnetic bit socket on one end and a hollow handle and screw-off cap that holds a Phillips #2, Torx T6, and a Wiha Slotted 4.5 bits.
You may already be familiar with James Brand because they are popular with EDC fans due to their quality gear. This brand isn’t a stranger to The Gadgeteer, as we have reviewed the James Brand Chapter Knife, the James Brand Duval Knife, and the James Brand Benton Ballpoint Pen.
If you would like to add the Cache River to your EDC collection, you can head over to thejamesbrand.com where it’s available for $60.

For a brief moment I thought that was YOUR hand Julie.
😉 nope, my only tattoos are dots on my chest.
Dots for motion capture/CGI “Digital Julie”?
That sounds more awesome than the real reason 😉 Radiation calibration dots for breast cancer treatments in 2011. The dots don’t even glow in the dark! 😉
9 years! May you never need it again.
Thank you!
Just three?
Sheesh, a little more effort and the bits could have been double-sided and give you six. Even eight if you kept one loaded all the time.
