The castAway™ case is a case for your smartphone that adds an ultra-thin Chromebook second screen.
Why do I like it?
I like the castAway™ case because it sounds super cool to be able to have a Chromebook as a second screen for my phone. The castAway™ will have a 1.5 GHz processor and will be compatible with Android or iOS phones and charges via one of 2 USB Type-C ports. It will also be available in 3 screen sizes from 5.8″ up to 6.9″.
They are going to offer a docking station that turns the castAway™ case into a stand-alone ultra-small Chromebook. Of all the campaigns listed in this post, this is the one I’m most interested in.

SleekStrip: World’s Thinnest Phone Stand & Grip
What is it?
SleekStrip is a new take on the PopSocket type of phone grip and stand.
Why do I like it?
I like SleekStrip because it has a thinner profile than similar products, so you can still get your phone in and out of your pocket, charge it on a wireless charger and put it in car mounts.
They sent me an early production version of the SleekStrap and I’ll agree that it’s sleek. I like that they are using premium materials like a metal frame instead of just using plastic for everything. If you’re a minimalist, you’ll really like this type of grip for your phone.

What is it?
Care Go is a wearable personal security device.
Why do I like it?
I like Care Go because it’s small, has features that will allow your loved ones to follow you and/or react when you send a realtime SOS alarm. It also has a battery that only needs to be charged once a year.

MagBolt: Magnetic Bolt-Action Pen
What is it?
The MagBolt is a machined pen that can be customized with different bolt caps and end caps.
Why do I like it?
I like the MagBolt pen because I have always liked bolt action style pens. They make an excellent EDC fidget toy. But the really cool thing about the MagBolt pen is that it uses the repelling force of two magnets along the barrel of the pen which eliminates the need for the spring that is typically found in retractable pens.
