Design and Features:
The Vanspace DC01 chair arrived in a large cardboard box. It’s relatively light-weight. I had no trouble hefting the parcel into my abode.
The Chair arrived in pieces, many wrapped in plastic bags.
The included instructions are quite good.
The only tool needed to assemble the chair is a hex wrench which is conveniently included with the hardware.
Construction took about 15 minutes. Everything fit together well with no unexpected surprises. Interconnection tolerances are tight and I was pleased to find there isn’t much play in the connecting parts of the chair. This translates into a furnishing that does not feel wobbly when I park my fanny into the seat.
The Bolts are very strong and the chair feels solid.
There are plenty of adjustments, including reclining, headrest, and height. It took only a few minutes for me to adjust the chair to my liking. Reclining locks in place and the base is sturdy enough to keep my ponderous bulk from toppling backward, even with the reclining at maximum.
I especially like the back material of this chair. The mesh material is very comfortable and cool and a great choice for people who spend a lot of time at their desks. I’ve used leather chairs in the past and for me, this chair is far more comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.
The armrests are covered with comfortable material.
The headrest can be adjusted to suit, but use caution when adjusting while sitting because it’s easy to pull it out of the housing. It’s not difficult to fix, but it does happen.
