When Apple releases a new batch of iPhones, manufacturers scurry to bring accessories to market to help protect your very expensive smartphone from hard-knocks and gravity. I recently reviewed the BodyGuardz new Pure 2 aluminosilicate glass screen protector, in addition to this next-gen screen protector BodyGuardz has released several new cases for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as well. In this case :D, I will be reviewing their Ace Pro case with Unequal technology for the iPhone 7 Plus.
The Ace Pro comes in clear or highly transparent TPU lined with the same “patented Unequal technology professional athletes use on the field for impact protection”. According to BodyGuardz, the Ace Pro cases are designed to accentuate the design of the Apple iPhone 7/7+, providing slim, lightweight protection from drops, bumps and scrapes.
- Unequal technology absorbs and dissipates impact
- Sleek, low profile design
- Soft bumper with rigid, transparent back
- Raised bezel protects front of device
- Rounded edges feel like the Apple iPhone 7/7+
- Works with BodyGuardz Pure2
The BodyGuardz Ace Pro is engineered to transfer and absorb the force of impact from the corner of the iPhone to along the edge/sides of the case itself as illustrated above.
The left side of the Ace Pro has push throughs for the volume buttons and access for the iPhone’s ringer mute switch.
The right side has a push through for the power button. The edges themselves are rounded and smooth providing good grip-ability and feel.
The base of the Ace Pro has cutouts for the iPhone’s speakers and Lightning port.
The Ace Pro has a protective bezel that extends beyond the screen to provide added protection for the front of your iPhone. As you can see and would expect, the Ace Pro works very nicely with the BodyGuardz Pure 2 aluminosilicate glass screen protector.
The BodyGuardz Ace Pro case is available in: Smoke/Black, Clear/Gray, Pink/White, and Blue/White.
The BodyGuardz Ace Pro case with Unequal technology provides solid protection for the iPhone 7/7+ without adding much weight or bulk to Apple’s sleek and slim device. The Unequal technology is engineered to transfer and absorb the energy from a corner drop to along the edge of the case instead of to the iPhone itself.
