I have a large Craftsman toolbox in my garage that contains all manner of screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers and more. But not everyone has a garage or room for such a collection of tools. The Strelka ToolBook is a toolbox that stores in your home on the book shelf. You might be thinking that you don’t want a toolbox sticking out like a sore thumb on your book case, but the ToolBook looks just like a hardback book, so it will blend in with the rest of your books. The “book” opens up to reveal a selection of 4 screwdrivers and set of Allen hex wrenches. The set features 2 Philips and 2 flat head screwdrivers that have stainless steel tips and aluminum handles. Everything stores conveniently in the book so that it can be folded up and stored on a shelf. This minimalist toolbox sells for $129. Visit Strelka for more info.

An odd and expensive collection of so-so tools. Not a good bang for the buck.
A cute idea, but it’s way overpriced for such a meager collection of tools.
I’ve been a big fan of the site for a LONG time (starting when I picked up my first Treo, so yeah…), but this one got me to actually write a comment. This is such a horrible waste of money. Even with the tiniest of apartment, a person would be better off picking up a few simple tools and saving a TON of money. I love cool gadgets too, but there has to be substance to make it work at the end of the day.
You would have to a total idiot to pay $129 for $20 worth of tools of dubious quality. Is this what the Gadgeteer is being reduced to? Sure you can do better than this.
Wow, this is way over priced.
