The Blocklite Mini Compact 9V LED flashlight consists of little more than a 9V battery. Actually, the flashlight is a small plastic piece that snaps onto the 9V battery. It has six bright white LEDs and a power switch with two brightness levels (high and low). It’s so small, you’ll be able to keep one in your pocket without adding any bulk to your pocket, and it’s cheap enough that you can keep one in your pocket, one in your car, one in your gear bag, one on your nightstand, and one in your kid’s room as as monster repeller. Each Blocklite Mini Compact 9V LED flashlight is $8.38 at Amazon.

Picked up one under a different brand a while back, and the high setting is crazy bright. Ended up using it as a night table reading light during a storm cause power outage, and it worked fine just pointed at the ceiling.
I would prefer a push button, over switch. Oh well
The Pak-Lite company has been making these (assembled in the USA) for many years, at least back to the early 2000’s: http://www.9voltlight.com/home
This variant looks like a much newer knockoff. It has more LEDs, though, and is probably brighter.
pretty interesting, but still bigger than a small flashkight with a barrel and a lithium battery, a lens and everything, so it’s kind of specific to those who have plenty 9v batteries laying around, and don’t really care about any kind of sealing or splash proofing…
