Last fall, Julie wrote about a Kickstarter for some Intrepid Bags. The project was funded, and the products are available for purchase now at their website. One of their gear bags is called the Lillium, which they say is a “European styled hands-free belt, cross body, and side purse”. It’s made of extra-thick, top-grain purse leather, has stainless steel hardware, and a magnetic closure. It has organizers for pens, credit cards, passport, zippered phone pocket, and even a micro-suede lined pocket for a 7″ tablet. They seem to be marketing the Lillium to women, but I think men could wear it, too. (Just think of it as a sporran.) The Lillium is available from the Intrepid Bag Co. in black with a plum lining or in brown with cranberry lining (which is on backorder at the moment) for $139.00. They also have a leather messenger called the Journeyman that can hold a 13″ laptop and a full-sized tablet that they are marketing to men for $369.00.
