R2D2 is my co-pilot – and my power source!

This is rather expensive for a USB car charging station, but could it be any cuter?  The R2D2 USB Car Charger from ThinkGeek sits beside you in a drink holder;  his arms adjust so that he will fit in most holders.  Plug him into your car’s power outlet, and he’ll be able to charge two devices simultaneously in his two 2.1A USB jacks.  He’s only 5.5″ tall and 3.5″ wide at the widest point; he has a 2″ diameter base to fit in a cup holder and a 36″ long cable to reach the power outlet.  He’s cute enough just sitting there, but ThinkGeek upped the cuteness factor with a lighted, rotating dome and by making him beep and whistle when your attached device begins to charge – or you can press a button to animate him anytime you want to converse with him.  R2D2 is $49.99 and is available exclusively from ThinkGeek.  (I’m not the most devoted Star Wars fan, but I’m dying for an R2D2 USB charger for my car.  My passengers can just hold their own drinks!)
