Here’s a new one for me. This low-heat LED lightbulb from the MoMA Store becomes an emergency flashlight when you need one. It screws into a standard socket, and it produces as much light as a 40W bulb using only 6W of electricity. The LEDs will produces up to 60,000 hours of light. When you need a flashlight, all you need to do is unscrew the bulb, extend the bulb’s “neck”, and use the its switch to power it on as a flashlight. The flashlight’s battery is charged while it’s screwed into the lamp socket, but I don’t see any information about the type of the battery or its power. The Bulb Flashlight is available exclusively at the MoMA Store for $45.00; members get a 10% discount on purchases.
