The OCDock began life as a very successful crowd-funded project, and now it’s in production.   This sleek aluminum, Lightning-connector dock has a glass bead-blasted, anodized silver finish that matches the stand of your iMac or Thunderbolt display, and it has what they are calling the world’s thinnest iPhone cable.  The cable is paper thin and fits under the display’s stand without interfering with its stability.  The OCDock then adheres to the base with residue-free adhesive, making the dock appear to be a part of the display’s stand.  It’s available in two versions, both with the Lightning connector.  The iPhone version fits naked or cased iPhone 5s;  the OCDock Mini works with the iPad.  Either style is is available for pre-order for $79.99, and shipment will begin in early May, 2013.  It’s available exclusively at BiteMyApple.co.

  2. The OCD in me sees the top of the phone barely above the display area.. I can’t stand it when something is that close to my screen.. it distracts me too much.
