Pinball may be a game that is known to kids young and old, but it is a game that doesn’t port over to a touch screen very easily. Duo Games now has a controller that can be used with Gameprom’s free Pinball HD Collection app to bring life-like pinball to the iPad. Connecting via Bluetooth, the Duo Pinball provides the buttons for the on-screen flippers and the ball shooter to provide a portable pinball machine you can use on your couch. The Duo Pinball is now available for $59.99 and is compatible with the 1st-4th generation iPad.

The iPad looks great in gun metal grey. I understand this thing is not very well made.
Too bad it doesn’t work with anything but that one specific pinball app… it would be an amazing addition to Pinball Arcade (the one that is an ever-expanding collection of recreated real tables) if it worked. But alas, this will probably end up in the same heap as all the other gimmick useful-for-only-one-game peripherals in gaming history…
That’s the one huge drawback of this thing is that its made for only one set of games. I just hope they expand it in the future or make a universal one for all pinball games!
