You’ve seen lots of iPad accessories announced – covers, cases, skins. The Book for iPad cover from LongLiveBooks is a little different from the rest. This slipcase style cover looks like a cloth-covered book, so you could hide your iPad among your books if you wanted. These Book cases are hand-made in Minnesota using a natural linen exterior, a wool felt sleeve to cradle the iPad, and a secure Velcro closure. You have three choices for the exterior – two designs, or unprinted. They are taking pre-orders and say they are “working very hard to ship them in early April.” The Book for iPad case is $89. LongLiveBooks also offers the Book for MacBook and for Kindle; each is also $89.

Looks nice. But won’t the wool create unwanted static?
There is no way that static could run thorough the casing. That is the main reason why there is a case. That and water damage, say you are drinking a cup of coffee on your computer without a case, it’s ruined now. But if it had a case it would be okay. Love the BOOK case by the way!
If you could use the iPad, in the case, it would be much more useful. Then, it would look as though you were reading a book.
I agree with Paul. I want to hide the fact that I’m using this ostentatious play thing, and keep it IN the book if I use it in public.
I would slap down my money for one of these covers today if it could conceal the pad.
I ordered one of these as a birthday present for my husband. Literally, website says 4-8 weeks…. it has now been 9 weeks and still no book… if you’re looking for a quick turnaround, look elsewhere.

I ordered a Book as well and it did take their estimated time of 4-6 weeks to get it. Worth the wait though.
You can actually set the ipad atop the wool pouch to conceal it in the book while reading.
Nice where can I find it ????
