why I’d like to be the winner: the DC570 looks like it would be the perfect companion for my lonely tower heater

  2. I would like to be the lucky winner of the Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System because my kids and their friends have a hard time believing someone my age can be a technogeek and it looks to be a cool system.

  3. twitter name: tintineaster

Why I’d like to be the winner: I’ve been “nice” all year – But the DC570 may not be able to fit in Santa’s sack – so this would be a wonderful way to make up for it!

  4. Twitter name: GoluboiPHL

I’d like to win the Philips DC570 because it would be perfect to fill my loft with music, which is something regular docking stations just can’t do.

  5. Twitter name: the_mayo_naise

I would like to be the winner because this would be the perfect accessory for my very first Ipod.

i’ll be going away to an out of state college in january, and would like to have at least *1* nice thing while living in absolute poverty. nice things like this are wasted on the old and hard of hearing 😀

I’d love to be the lucky winner of the Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System because I never get to buy anything like this for myself since I have a daughter in college – All of my extra $$ goes to her college expenses!

I’d love to win this system because I presently have nothing better to listen to music on than my in-ear headphones to listen to music on. So you’d be saving me from irreparable hearing damage if you let me win 😉 . Jokes apart, I seriously think these speakers would make a great companion for my 1st gen Nano, and I most certainly don’t have the money to buy them for now. I’m a piano player and I usually hear songs again and again while trying to play them on the piano simultaneously and that’s rather difficult with headphone wires dangling around.

I would LOVE this dock because I have a cheap iHome knock off I got at a discount dept store that starts with a “R”. This is something I would brag to my friends and recommend they buy.

  10. I would NOT like to be the lucky winner of the Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System because I am old, hard of hearing, and unlike our poverty-stricken student joshjoshlol, I have the dough to buy one if I wanted to.

I would like to be the lucky winner because our living space is horizontally, but not vertically challenged, and it would fit in perfectly! Thank you for offering this, whether I win or not.

I’d love to be the winner of this contest! I’m finally moving back up to university in January, where I’ll be living in the smallest apartment I have ever seen. It would be amazing to have such a speaker system that will provide great sound in a manageable size.

Thanks for offering this, and all of the other, great contests!

Would love to have this Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System in the family room! Far better than using earphones with the iPod at home.

Why would I not want to win such a great prize. I need this, I want this. The clock radio that plays my music is just horrible to be honest, the DC570 on the other hand would rock my house for sure. It is stylish and from what I have heard it sounds incredible too. So why should I win… Well Because I have never won a thing in my life before that is why, and add to the fact that I really need a quality way to listen to my ipod in the house besides using my headphones. Miss alot of job calls when you cant hear the phone ring because you have your headphones on you know.

  15. @geek4life1986

Somehow, I think a Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System will suit me better than cranking up the speakers on my desktop, and then turning down the volume of all other running apps, which is what I currently often resort to doing to play my collection of MP3s.

  16. @scsak

This would be perfect for my office located at a camp on the North Slope of Alaska. I could drown out the elevator music which comes from the office next door :-).

  17. I’d love to win the Philips DC570 Docking Entertainment System so I can listen to The Beatles ReMastered DVDs on. Sweet!

We want to win because we just made the transition from vinyl to digital and our speakers are terrible!

  19. I’d love one because we are really strapped and are having a simple Un-gifting Holiday this year.
A delivery date late would still be a ‘gift’ for us.

Happy Holidays to Judie, Julie and all the others who have kept the fun of Gadgeteer alive through the years…. Joyeux Joys, all.
