amberalertThe My Child ID is a small USB flash memory keychain device that securely stores, organizes and manages your child’s vital information, medical information (medications, allergies, physicians, etc.) and emergency contact information. It also stores images that can be shown in a slide show on its 1.4in LCD. It is a proactive tool for parents, law enforcement and emergency responders to safeguard children by helping to reduce the time it takes to gather accurate information when time is critical – from potential hours to minutes. It syncs with the company’s state Law Enforcement Alerting Portals (L.E.A.P.) to issue immediate emergency alerts. AmberAlert.com relies on revenue generated from the sale of the My Child ID ($39.95) in order to provide L.E.A.P. technology, along with service, support, training and maintenance, to State Law Enforcement Agencies at no cost.

  2. Look like a waste of money and a toy. Just put the info on a regular $10 flash drive or online where it’s available at any time.

@Dan you can definitely just put the info on a flash drive. The benefit of this device is that it syncs with the state Law Enforcement Alerting Portals so that all info is formatted in a way that can be automatically sent out as an alert – eliminating the time to manually enter everything
