Over three years ago, I reviewed the original Sleeptracker watch which claimed to help a person wake more refreshed, by waking them at the perfect time during their sleep cycle. It didn’t work well for me, but there are a lot of people that swear by it. Those people will be happy to learn that there’s a new snappier looking men’s and women’s version available. This latest version includes a vibrating alarm, as well as the ability to download sleep data to a PC. Hmmm, maybe I should give it another try? What do you think?

I think you should. I love reading about all of your adventures with various sleep related products.
Now if they could rig one of those watches up to a souped-up TENS unit and shock me awake, that would work for me. (Sadly, I’m only partly kidding, I often contemplate making a device that shocks me when I grind my teeth at night)
@Meredyth It is not unusual for me to sleep through a couple of alarms and even the radio playing. 😉
I’ve toyed with buying one of these for a while….especially since I’m not a morning person.
Maybe this new model works better?
@Blacknimbus that’s what I’m wondering too. The one I reviewed didn’t have a very loud alarm. This one vibrates.
Julie,
Have you seen those alarm clocks in cartoons that lift up the headboard of bed and drop you on the floor? Maybe you and I need to invent one of those 🙂
@Meredyth Do you know where I can buy one? 😉
@Jackie Too funny! 🙂
@Meredyth: I think techies/gadgeteers like us might wake up when the alarm goes off and says “Your computer is on fire”….lol

This one might actually get me up in the morning….
Dear Julie,
Thanks for the review and presenting this product. I got it, tried it and it works perfectly for me. Sometimes in the morning before waking up I doze on and off, and the watch really helps to get the right moment of remembering to get up.
Frank.
