This has been a “good mail day”…
I just opened a package from
SCOTTeVEST and found several new items that will be reviewed soon, including
their v2.0 ball cap (which fits me very nicely), a light
Microfleece Pullover (great for cool nights), and their new “wired’ t-shirt.
I also received the new Tekkeon
myPower ALL, a
device that allows the user to recharge their electronics on the go. That will
come in very handy next week while we are traveling.
Perhaps the most exciting item of all however, was the Samsung i550. For those of you that don’t know about this device, it is
the newer version of the
Samsung
i500, but on massive steroids! No matter what rumors you have heard
or what you happen to believe, the phone does exist. Whether or not it will work properly on the Sprint network since it is technically a non-supported phone is another issue.
The two OLED screens are unbelievably beautiful and sharp – and the phone itself
feels like a work of art. I just got my service switched over from the i500, but
I haven’t yet hot-synced. In fact, as soon as I post this entry I am going to go
play with my new toy…and “toy” may be exactly what it is, that or “paperweight” if I can’t get things to work. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. :0)
