I was looking at Engadget this morning, and noticed a blurb mentioning that Sprint PCS has now released their first 2MP camera cell phone, the very cool looking Samsung MM-A800.
I have to admit that this phone really appeals to me, I mean why wouldn't it? According to the NY Times review that I just read, “It takes two-megapixel photos (a first for a cellphone in the United States). It can scan in business cards, record 90-minute videos, play TV shows and even transcribe dictated speech.”
Unfortunately, the reviewer seems to feel that the phone is essentially a jack of all trades and a master of none, which doesn't bode well for its $500 price tag.
Maybe I'll just wait until either the price drops or the next version comes out.
Or maybe I'll just bite the bullet and hit “ADD TO ORDER”…
