Pocket notebook fans should already be familiar with Word Notebooks, which are the same size as Field Notes notebooks, but offer a bullet system for better organization of tasks. Word Notebooks and Bradley Mountain have teamed up to offer a new notebook in the Word Notebook line. It’s the Adventure Log, and it’s designed for people who would like to record their experiences and stories in an easy to use format.

As mentioned earlier, Word Notebooks and the new Adventure Log notebook, are the same size as Field Notes notebooks and have the same number of pages.
- Made in the USA
- 48 pages
- 3.5″ x 5.5″
- Pack of 3
The Adventure Log is held together with two staples and has rounded corners to make the notebook easier to slide into a pants pocket or a slot in your gear bag. The notebook comes with either a yellow or black cover, and with a space on the front where you can add a number to keep track of your collection of Adventure Logs.
The card stock cover has a place to add your name, notes, year, month and contact info inside the front cover.
The back cover has an area to create a bucket list. If you’re not familiar with the term bucket list, it’s a list of things that you want to do before you kick the bucket.
The pages themselves are white, with sections to add all the pertinent information about your latest adventure. One adventure per page. There’s an area to add the location, date, conditions, companions and a large lined section for notes. I decided to use my Adventure Log as a geocaching log, but you can use it to log all sorts of adventures, from urban wine tasting trips, to rural hunting and hiking excursions.
While you can use an ordinary pocket notebook for the same tasks as the Adventure Log, having a notebook with a pre-printed template on each page is a nice convenience. And for pocket notebook fans, it will be a worthy addition to their collection of unique pocket notebooks.
