A kit for the next Indiana Jones

explorers-case-for-kids

If you have a budding explorer in your family, he or she will need some equipment.  The Moulin Roty Explorer’s Kit contains everything a budding scientist and explorer needs during their field trips.  The sturdy cardboard case looks like it’s well-traveled, as evidenced by the stickers.  Inside are “functional cardboard pocket binoculars, a compass, string (with instructions on how to tie the perfect knot), a notebook and pencil, a water bottle, and a green messenger style bag to keep everything handy while exploring.”  It’s $78 from Smitten for the Wee Generation.

I would have loved one of these kits when I was a kid. Remember how Sears and JC Penneys used to have army, cowboy, etc kits with full costumes? I always wanted the army kit (go figure). Never got one though… ;)

The “suitcase” looks cute. They should include a fedora hat too. =D

Seems a bit (actually a lot of bits) overpriced. Cardboard binoculars. String. A pencil and note pad. Come on.
