With the Moverio BT-100 wearable display from Epson, you’ll always have a floating 80″ high-res, quarter HD display with you so you can enjoy streaming video and side-by-side 3D content.  The “screen” is see-through, so you’ll always be aware of the world around you.  The Moverio BT-100 runs on an Android 2.2 platform with Adobe Flash 11 support.  You’ll always have access to content from the built-in WiFi or from the 1GB of internal storage and from the SD card (4GB card included).   Using the touch-sensitive controller, you’ll be able to play games, check your email, surf, or enjoy streaming (or downloaded) content.  Dolby Mobile surround sound is delivered to your personal earphones or to Moverio’s detachable earphones, so your content sounds as good as it looks.  The rechargeable battery gives you 6 hours, so you’ll be set for those long flights.  The Moverio BT-100 is $699.99, and you can order it now from Epson’s online retail site; it’s also available at other retailers.

Yep, Bob! I’m sure the EMTs will think you look really cool in the glasses when they come to unwrap your car from the telephone pole after you get distracted by a movie! ;) :D

Oh Janet, I was actually thinking I’d be on my Harley Davidson zipping down the freeways at 85mph and playing World of Warcraft :P
