Pelican is adding a new case to their line of protective cases.  The new 1075 Hardback cases are designed for tablets and netbooks, or even other small devices like external hard drives.  The case seals with a gasket, so the case is water tight, dust proof, and crush proof.  It has an automatic purge valve to balance air pressure inside the case while keeping out water and dust.  There are three versions of the case.  The i7500 for the iPad/iPad 2 has a molded liner and an integrated easel for horizontal or vertical viewing and storage for the Apple Bluetooth keyboard and accessories.  The 1075CC has a shock-absorbing liner for netbooks.  There’s also a model with a Pick N Pluck interior foam lining that can be customized to fit the shape of your small device(s). The MSRP for the netbook and Pick N Pluck models is $69.95;  the iPad model will be $84.95.

THIS is how we did it last June to protect the iPad from unwanted intrusions:http://www.rainydaymagazine.com/RDM2010/Home/June/Week4/RDMHomeJun2410.htm#iPadArmor

That was almost over a year ago. We can show you how we do it today, but then…well, you know the rest of that saying.
