just sent word that they have a new free system analyzer tool
called UpgradeDetect that works for both Consumer and Corporate
(multi-user) environments. It has an advanced detection program
(8-years in the perfecting) that will scan a user’s computer and
identify the EXACT upgrades (down to the very part #) that will
work on that EXACT system. It will identify open memory slots,
virus security gaps, and more. I didn’t expect it to work on my
iMac, but was happily surprised when it did. The software that it
downloads is a small web based application. The whole process runs
directly from your browser. Pretty cool. Give it a try.
