Zune Update

I went ahead and picked up a Zune last night along with a cheapo
Everex laptop at my good old Super Walmart store. I opted for the
White version because to me the Black one is boring and the Brown
one looks… well… I’m not going to say it… ;o) So far I’ve
only managed to open the box. Why aren’t there more hours in the
day for gadgets? Why?! Anyway, I will have time over the weekend to
move my music over and give it a spin. So far the physical design
just seems kinda lame. But you know they say you can’t judge a book
by its cover, so we’ll see. I’ve been hearing all kinds of negative
comments, but I’m trying not to pay too much attention because I
want to give this device a fair review. Yeah, I’m an iPod junkie,
but that doesn’t mean I can’t be objective.

In other news, Friday the 24th will be our annual Gadgeteer
Holiday Review Bundle day. I plan to make this one the best ever
