I am an e-book addict. By now, I think most of you know that. It is no exaggeration for me to say that I have well over a hundred books that I have paid for at peanut-press. Some have been great, and some have been a total waste of money. Some days, I wish that there were such thing as an e-book library. Well, evidently someone else had the same idea, and they decided to do something about it! I just recived this info that I know all of you other e-book fanatics will be glad to see: “A little about the library: The service works much like a brick-and-mortar library. Patrons can borrow our ebooks, read them, and then at the end of the loan term (typically 1 to 2 weeks), the ebook effectively checks itself back in.
Currently, our collection contains novels and short stories by authors like Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverberg, Harlan Ellison, Warren Adler, Janet Dailey, and others. We're closing in on 1,200 titles and continue to add more ebooks regularly as titles are made available and as our patron base
expands. Our ebooks use the free Mobipocket ebook reading software and can be read on virtually any device (Palm, Pocket PC, Symbian OS, Psion, Desktop/Laptop, and even some of the new smartphones from Nokia). We charge a nominal fee of $19.95 per year for full access (people can also try the service for free).”

This is a big deal to me, and I bet it will be to some of you. Take a look at their web site, and let me know what you think. :0)
