I was reminded of all the talk of journals on the website lately when I saw this app from Redbot Software. The Time Lapse Photo Journal app works with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad to let you make a journal of photos that you take daily to record how a subject changes. It requires iOS 4, because it uses push notification to remind you to take a photo each day and other functions of iOS 4. Use the device’s camera to snap a shot or select pictures that have been imported into an album on the device. You can edit the photos to get your subject centered and zoomed in just as you like to best show changes over time. You can create separate journals for each subject, and you can playback your photos as a slideshow movie that can be exported to Facebook and YouTube or emailed to a friend. The Time Lapse Photo Journal app is $3.99 in the iTunes store.
