NEWS – Many multi-tools have built-in scissors, but these folding scissors have built-in tools. There’s a bottle opener because if a multi-tool doesn’t have a way to open beers, people won’t buy it. There’s a seat belt cutter, a glass breaker, a ruler, a knife, a wrench, a Philips screwdriver, and last but not least, one of the handles has a built-in clip that you can use to attach to your belt, backpack, etc. There are just 2 ratings for these shears that are on opposite ends of the scale. One is 5 stars and the other is 1 star… so I have no idea if this is a good item for your EDC or if it’s complete junk. If you’re interested in taking a closer look, you can buy a pair for $38 on Amazon right now.

These look like a cheap knock-off of the Leatherman Raptor Rescue shears, similar to the Raptor Response shears you mentioned a while back here (https://the-gadgeteer.com/2021/09/16/leatherman-has-something-new/) — might be nice as a curiosity but if one is relying on them I’d spring for the leatherman version. It is quite a price difference though… $100ish vs $38.
Chris, Yes, I thought of the Raptor Rescue shears as soon as I saw this one. But this one had me interested due to the extra functionality so I thought I’d share it.
So let me see if I have this right… You’re basically reviewing something you have no idea about. Didn’t even try it I’ll be sure not to look for your crap in the future
No, you don’t have it right 🙂 This was NOT a review. It was just a quick news post talking about a product that I found interesting and thought others would too. The first word in the article is NEWS instead of REVIEW and it’s like 100 words or so. For future reference, our reviews are sometimes over a 1000 words with many photos.
