REVIEW – For the past couple of years, I’ve slowly been converting all of my lawn tools over from gas to electric. I already had a lawnmower and weed trimmer, the only thing I needed was a leaf blower. As luck would have it (and just in time for the fall), I was recently offered a review for the AchiForce cordless leaf blower. How could I say no?

Design and features
The leaf blower comes in two pieces, the main unit, and the blower tube. When assembled, the blower is 32-inches long and weighs just over 6 lbs. The handle has an ergonomic design with a rubber grip for easy single-handed use.
Instead of using an on/off switch, the AchiForce has a variable speed dial located on the top of the handle. The dial allows you to easily power the unit on and toggle between its five power settings using just your thumb.
Speed level 1: Fine dust on the ground
Speed level 2: Sawdust and other heavy dust
Speed level 3: Dust buildup inside electronics
Speed level 4: Fallen leaves in large areas
Speed level 5 (Max): Stubborn dust
Effective Heat Dissipation Ports on the back of the unit keep the motor from overheating.
The blower comes with a rechargeable 20V 4.0 Ah battery and battery charger.
To charge the battery, slide it onto the charger until it locks into place. While charging, the green indicator light on the front of the charger will blink and will turn solid when the battery is fully charged. The charger also uses quick charge technology and can fully charge the battery in under 2 hours.
Performance
Before receiving the AchiForce cordless blower, I was using an old electric model that had to be plugged in. Although it served me well, it was rather loud, and having to haul a 150-foot extension cord around my yard was a pain in the rear. Needless to say, using the AchiForce was a lot easier.
I have what I consider to be a medium-sized yard, and I used the blower after I cut the grass (hopefully for the last time this season). The video below shows the blower in action.
Overall, I was pleased with how the blower performed. It is relatively quiet and powerful, especially at max speed. I found the unit to be lightweight, and the handle design made it easy to maneuver it around with one hand. And I like how the variable speed dial allowed me to easily change the blowing power on the fly, depending on what I was blowing around. I was able to blow grass clippings off the driveway, dried pine needles off of the sidewalk, and leaves from around landscape and bushes. And the end of the blower tube is narrow enough to provide control to where I was blowing things.
Battery life
AchiForce states that the battery will last up to 28 minutes, and I found that to be pretty accurate. It took me around 25-30 minutes to finish my yard, and the battery did not lose power until the very end. Considering I ran the blower at the max speed most of the time, I was satisfied with the battery life. There are LED lights on the battery that allow you to quickly check its power status.
If you have a big yard or just want a backup battery, you can purchase an extra one on Amazon for $44. The battery is also compatible with other devices from AchiForce (Cordless Lawnmower and chainsaws.)
After you are finished, the blower tube can quickly be removed, making the unit more compact and easy to store.
What I like
- Lightweight
- Powerful
- 5 different speed settings
- Priced right
- Breaks down for easy storage
- Good battery life and recharges quickly
What I’d change
- Nothing
Final thoughts
The AchiForce is an exceptional cordless leaf blower for small to medium size yards. It’s lightweight, powerful, and affordable. The 5-speed settings allow you to easily clean away anything, from light dust to stubborn grass and leaves. And for me, it sure beats dragging a long extension cord all over the yard.
