What is it?
The Lugulake Vinyl Record Player is a tabletop turntable with built-in stereo speakers, 3-speed adjustment, and auto-stop feature. It has a plug-in DC adapter, along with an RCA outlet port and Aux In port. It is stylish with a dark faux-wood finish with brass colored speaker covers and on/off volume control knob. Design and features
Setup
The turntable was well packed with Styrofoam protection in a cardboard box. It was easy to setup. Simply remove the unit from the Styrofoam and plastic bag, plug in the power cord, and remove the Stylus (needle) cover. Just that easy and it is ready to use.
With the black top and wood grain finish, it looked nice with my black glass entertainment center. It also has a nice felt dust cover over the platter.
Not required for initial setup or playing records, the turntable also comes with an Aux In port to connect other audio devices to the built-in speakers. There is also an RCA outlet to connect the turntable to other audio speaker devices (via RCA cable) such as an amplifier or stereo system. However, that is clearly not needed, as the built-in speakers sound great – loud and clear. You can find the ports on the back panel of the player.
The volume knob located on the front panel controls the volume level well, with great music and sound.
Performance
As mentioned, the sound quality was quite nice. There was no distortion and it picked up all the great full tones provided by a record. The turntable has 3 speeds: 33, 45, and 78 rpm. For the 45 speed, a record adapter is provided. There is also an auto-stop switch that is default to on, but can easily be changed to off.
I first played a classic 1980’s 33rpm record. I turned on the on/off volume knob. I then unlocked the tone arm and lifted it with the very nice and sleek tone arm lifter. I brought the tone arm over to the record, which started spinning. I lowered the tone arm and it very slowly lowered the tone arm and stylus onto the record. I really enjoyed the tone arm release. It was slow and gently lowered the stylus onto the record. The songs brought me back to the 1980’s and listening to the same record as a kid.
I listened to the entire side of the record. With the auto-stop feature on, the record stopped spinning when the stylus reached the end of the last song. One feature missing was the auto return of the tone arm. But with the auto-stop, that was not a big deal.
I then tried a 45rpm record. It was easy to change the speed and use the record adaptor. Like my classic 33rpm record, the 45 sounded just as great.

Overall this is a great turntable with the standard turntable features that work well. The speakers sound great, and it is a stylish addition to my entertainment center. It’s definitely worth your consideration.
