REVIEW – A little while back I reviewed a set of headphones that truly blew my socks off by the OneOdio brand. I was super impressed by the quality of the build and the sound, so recently when OneOdio came out with the Focus A6 Hybrid ANC Headphones I jumped at the opportunity to see if that same build and sound quality was matched. They are a more consumer-grade headphone than the DJ-grade audience, so I had t0 compare. Read on to see how they hold up!

Design and features
These headphones have a sleek, contoured design which differs from the bulky circular cans that some other headphones sport. They are pretty lightweight and come in at 240 grams.
The headband is well-built and holds its position without slipping or sliding around.
The buttons are all physical click buttons on the right headphone. The first controls the level of ANC and allows you to cycle through full noise cancellation, pass-through, wind reduction mode, and off. The second controls power. The third set controls volume and also allows you to skip tracks with a long click.
Setup
USB-C charging. Plug it in and charge it up. This has a very long battery life of up to 75 hours of playback, which is more than enough to get through a few days of solid use.
Performance
Sound quality on these headphones is pretty great, especially at the price-point. They aren’t the DJ-quality large headphones of my previous review, but I really enjoy listening to music on them. Going between both classic rock and symphonic music the headphones held up great with both.
I believe that OneOdio has released a new app for use specifically with these headphones. Through the app you can access a lot of the button settings as well as equalizer settings and customization. I thumbed through a few of the presets on the app and think that they are reasonably well balanced. The Super Bass mode seems a bit light to me, but that could just be a preference. If you try these out, I’d love to hear what you think.
Active noise cancelling works very well and I can barely hear anything around me with it on. The pass-through mode does seem like it needs some work from my testing. While I could hear sound around me with it on, it seemed pretty muddy.
Final thoughts
I really enjoy listening to music with these headphones. I don’t have any significant negatives after listening to them for a few weeks. I like that they are light-weight and have a pretty significant battery life. They also don’t look like I’m wearing a giant pair of ear muffs around. The active noise cancelling is very solid and I find that if I’m not paying attention that I definitely miss things going on around me because I can’t hear them at all. I definitely recommend.
What I like about the OneOdio Focus A6 Hybrid ANC Headphones
- Solid, lightweight design that doesn’t look like giant ear muffs
- Battery life is great
- Sound quality is very good
- Bluetooth 6.0 Support
What needs to be improved?
- The ANC sound pass-through setting sounds muddy. You do hear things going on around you, but it’s not very clear
