REVIEW – I reviewed an E-Win gaming chair which I liked but in the summer the leather can get a little sticky. I also reviewed the Vari Performance Task Chair and I liked it a lot. In fact, my significant other liked it so well she absconded with it for her office. So when Vari asked me to try out their new Tempur-Pedic Chair I jumped at the chance to give it a whirl. Let’s see if it’s as comfortable as the Performance Task Chair.

Assembly, Installation, and Setup
Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. They are also available online here if you misplace them but putting the chair together was super simple and unlike their Performance Task Chair this did not require any tools at all. Only three hand screws are needed to put it together. I turned the chair base over and installed the five casters. Flipped that over and inserted the piston and then removed the red protective cap.
I then flipped the seat pan over and installed the arm rests securing them with two hand screws. The arm rests are labeled so you know which one goes on the right and which on the left.
I then put the seat pan on the corner of my counter and inserted the chair back depressing the plastic clip pin in a little to allow it to slide in until it clicks. I then used the last hand screw to secure the chair back.
Then I flipped the chair seat over and placed it onto the piston and that was job done.
The left knob twists to lock and unlock the chair back wherever you want it. You can adjust how easily the backrest reclines by turning the knob on the right. Seat depth can be adjusted as well with the lever on the left. Seat height is adjusted with the lever on the right.
A nice feature with this chair is you can adjust the lumbar support with a couple of levers on the back quite easily while in the chair to get the perfect position.
The armrests have a button on the bottom to adjust the height. Width is adjusted with the hand screws underneath. The cushion is nice and conforming but with enough support to keep you in place. The material is breathable and doesn’t get hot in the summer heat.
Final Thoughts
The Vari Tempur-Pedic Chair is comfy! The Tempur material is super breathable and airy. It definitely has more give than the leather E-Win but is still supportive. I like the full adjustments you can make to get the right fit especially the lumbar support. If you are looking for a comfy office chair that won’t break the bank look no further. Vari makes quality products and the Tempur-Pedic Chair has a 5 year warranty so they stand behind their products.
