PAJ VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0 review

REVIEW – In case you did not know, I have become an ECO-holic even for my outdoor activities, so e-bikes and e-motorcycles are big on my list. I have remodeled half of my garage into an e-motor workshop and plan to work on upgrades and mods. I recently purchased an e-motorcycle and added quite a few expensive accessories. Lately, bike thefts of all kinds of bikes have increased dramatically where I live. I suspect that the thefts are involved in international trade because it is always nice and relatively expensive bikes that are stolen. I have installed several levels of security within and around my garage and now it is time to add more security directly on the bike. Enter the PAJ VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0.

The PAJ VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0 is a vehicle tracker device that offers real-time GPS tracking and a virtual security fence via an included SIM card that works in over 100 countries.

Installation

Installing the PAJ VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0 involves hiding the device in your vehicle and connecting the positive and negative leads directly to the battery so that the power is always on. In my case, I installed it on my Eahora Knight M1PS e-motorcycle.

The next step was to create an account using the app and select a subscription plan. The device ID is on a sticker on the back of the device. It is needed for activation. I suggest you take a photo of the sticker first since the adhesive strip will cover it when the device is installed. Taking a photo may also be a good idea so that the device ID number is available for reference.

Performance

The performance of the PAJ GPS is based on the experience with the app which I can confirm works flawlessly and provides detailed information on location, vibration alerts and even recording of routes traves using clear visual depictions.

 While I blurred or blocked many of the details in the app screenshots above, you can still get a good sense of the many features offered by this device.

What I like about the PAJ VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0

• It is lightweight and compact
• The SIM card is pre-installed
• It comes with mounting accessories
• It is simple and easy to install
• It works flawlessly
• It includes great security and tracking features
• The vibration alarm includes an audible app notification and the option for an email notification

What needs to be improved?

• The battery information is not always available in the app
• Maybe I am just not seeing the option in the app to change from Kilometers to Miles but if it exists it is not an obvious choice
• Since it uses a SIM, SMS alerts should be an included option. This would allow a phone without the app to receive an alert
• I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the vibration alarm to eliminate occasional false alarms

Final thoughts

IMHO the PAJ GPS is a fantastic tracking/finder/security device that employs a sleek and simple design with full-featured functionality. I own other tracking devices for “big name” companies, and I would say that I would currently choose this GPS for vehicle tracking over all the others I own. This device is very well done.
