- 4 Ride Modes for Your Needs: If you know about e-bikes, you will know that different riding modes can be set up to match the different environments you ride in. The E2 e-bike has four modes: pure electric mode, PAS mode, pedal exercise mode, and cruise control mode. (The actual range is related to riding habits and carrying weight)
- Comfortable Riding Experience: The E2 electric bike is dedicated to providing you with comfortable riding time. The front dual fork absorber, rear under suspension, extended 23″ sponge saddle, and 20″×4.0 fat tires, are each part of the building of the E2 electric bike’s buffer system, which can minimize the impact of bumpy off-road road conditions on rider body
- Retro Off-road Electric Bicycle: The E2 is a retro light-duty electric off-road bike, redesigned based on the appearance and function of traditional off-road motorcycles. It has different highlights from other electric bikes. Smooth body lines design greatly reduces the driving resistance, the solid metal stable bike frame can bear more, and the max load is up to 330lb
The Windone E2 E-Bike is a motorcycle-style e-bike. The frame is aluminum and heavy-duty. It has 20″ x 4″ wheels, from and rear shock absorbers, and front and rear brakes. There is a nice retro headlight, a taillight/brake light, and a display screen in the center of the handlebar. It also has a nice spring-loaded kickstand.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
The Windone E2 E-Bike arrives partially assembled in a big box. The bike weighs 95 pounds, so it is quite a heavy package. The following photos provide some snapshots from my assembly process:
You can see in the photo below that there was a bit of FedEx shipping damage.
Performance
The first task after assembling the Windone E2 E-Bike, was to charge the bike overnight. The AC adapter has a built-in LED that lights red while charging and green when fully charged.
Overall, this Windone E2 E-Bike is an all-around amazing performer. The ride is smooth, the brakes are sharp and the bike stops on a dime. Right out of the box, the shocks worked perfectly for me so I did not need to adjust them. They even performed well on some of the rough streets I tested. the bike accelerates reasonably quickly and I reached 27 mph. I have not yet been able to take it on a real off-road journey, but I do not doubt that it will perform well. I want to find out if there is a way to remove the “usual” limiter to make it go faster when I am off-road. The retro headlight is a nice touch and it is very bright. The Taillight/Brakelight is also bright. The bike would be nicer with signal indicators. This E-bike is an amazing pleasure to ride and I am completely sold on the motorcycle-type design. Time to get another one like it to add to my collection. If you are thinking of buying an E-bike you cannot go wrong with this one.
I wanted to provide more visual details about a few of the features of this Windone E2 E-bike, so I recorded the following video:
Here is a video showing some fun test rides and even a mini-race 🙂
What I like about the Windone E2 E-Bike
- The motorcycle design
- The build quality
- The battery life
- The speed
- The shocks
- The brakes
- Everything
What needs to be improved?
- It works for me as is. Maybe an easy way to remove the speed limiter for riding on private property?
- Add some turning signal indicators
Final thoughts
The Windone E2 E-Bike is simply a joy to ride. The shocks make for a smooth and comfortable ride, and the seat is also very comfortable. The bike is well-built, and I am in love with the motorcycle style. The price is simply amazing for such an incredible value. Well done!!

“Ebike”
Mislabelled motorcycle last seen flying through the places where my kids play to ruin it for everyone.
If it has a motor and a throttle, it’s not a bicycle.
It’s not “motorcycle style”; it’s a motorcycle.
If you are riding it on the sidewalk, you are the problem.
If you are riding it in traffic without turn signals, a helmet, or the skills and training that motorcyclists need to have to keep themselves and others safe, you are the problem.
If you don’t do either of those things, what is it for?
It’s not allowed in the dirtbike park and it doesn’t belong in the mountain bike park.
It’s trying to exploit the fact that legislation hasn’t caught up to technology, by selling an item that is very dangerous to bystanders and will be outlawed following the series of high profile tragedies which are taking place now.
Brad Pitt and Angelina’s son almost paid with his life, for example.
I don’t think that dangerous imported products should be glorified in this way.
