REVIEW – Our first power washer was life changing. To be able to deep clean nearly any outdoor surface with relative ease is great, but our old power washer is on its last legs, with a protruding edge of plastic that’s cut my hand multiple times. Needless to say, I was thrilled to volunteer to review the VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer.
What is it?
The VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer is fairly well described in the product name. Basically, you plug the device into AC power and a garden hose for water, and it builds pressure to spray a high pressure stream of water out of the spout.
What’s included?
- 4 different spray nozzles
- “Turbo” nozzle
- Cleaning tool
- Spraying lance
- Trigger gun
- Detergent bottle
- Power cord

Design and features
The VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer is a tall, skinny mostly plastic affair. The colorway is black and yellow, and fit and finish are all good, the review unit didn’t have any issues.
The “trigger gun”, power cord, spraying lance, and pressure hose all have designated storage slots or spools. A glaring omission is a storage spot for the extra nozzles (our old one, despite all it’s flaws, has little slots for each nozzle). I’m on the hunt for a small cloth bag I can zip tie to the handle or something.
Most of the storage slots are on the back of the unit, above you can see the “wand” and “gun” being stored with the power cord removed (the hook in the center is for the power cord).
The handle for the pressure hose can be folded away (which is nice if you’re the type of person that somehow snags anything sticking out as you walk by).
The power cord is generously long and has GFCI protection (if water somehow gets on the plug prongs, the unit will turn off rather than shorting out and exploding or whatever electric things exposed to water do).
There’s an on/off switch on the front. This turns the pressure on and off, respectively.
The trigger gun has a large grip trigger that’s easy to hold for extended periods. There’s also a safety switch that’s nice for preventing accidental triggering.
Attaching the pressure wand to the trigger gun involves pulling a sleeve and rotating the wand.
The 5 different nozzles provide a nice array of pressure intensities and patterns. Ranging from 0 to 40 degrees (and a “Turbo” nozzle that outputs a lot of water in a cone pattern), you can cut holes through fruits with the 0 degree nozzle or gently wash a car with the 40 degree nozzle.
The garden hose attachment point is metal with rubber washers, and sealed as well as anything else does to our garden hose (slight leaks when attached – but so does everything else so I think it’s the hose). VEVOR includes extra O rings for this and other parts in the box, which is nice.
The wheels seem like a nice addition, but will probably only be helpful for people far shorter than myself. To roll the VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer along the ground I’d have to stoop down pretty far, but luckily it’s not too heavy so it’s easy to carry around.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
Assembly of the VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer involves a couple of screws, and only takes a couple of minutes. Then you simply plug the power in and attach a garden hose to the water inlet.
The pressure hose attaches to the side of the pressure washer. You’ll want to do this before using it.
Performance
I tested the VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer on a variety of projects and surfaces like patio bricks, fences, and our car. The detergent foam attachment is great for tasks like car washing, you can put your soap of choice in the tank, attach it to the trigger gun, and it lathers whatever you’re working on (which you then rinse off with a pressure attachment). Below is a video of the fence washing:
The pressure washer did a perfect job of restoring caked on mud and grime off the white vinyl (though dirt that’s accumulated inside kept coming out throughout the cleaning, so it’s an ongoing battle).
A highlight of using the VEVOR pressure washer is the long cords and hoses. The pressure hose and power cord are both more than twice as long as our previous pressure washer and it’s so nice to be able to cover that much more ground before needing to move the pressure washer itself.
What I like about the VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer
- Does a great job of pressure washing for this price point
- Generous power and pressure line lengths is really nice.
- Reel and handle for the pressure hose is great for storage
What needs to be improved?
- Easily tips over if you get to the end of the pressure hose length. This never shut the unit off, but I always stopped and put it back up when it happened.
- Storage for most parts, but not the nozzle attachments not being used.
Final thoughts
The VEVOR Electric Pressure Washer does exactly what we need it to around our house, and feels like it should last a while based on the tasks performed during the review period. Our previous pressure washer was roughly the same price, and this is definitely a big upgrade. I look forward to many future cleanings!
