REVIEW – I’ve reviewed a variety of outdoor solar lights designed to add a decorative flair to your property at night. Today, I want to talk about Quntis Solar Deck Lights, which are flat lights that you can attach right to your deck or sidewalk. But instead of using them as decorative lights, my plan is to use them for safety. Let’s take a look.
What is it?
The Quntis Solar Deck Lights are a pack of 4 LED solar lights that can be mounted on a flat surface.
What’s in the box?
- 4 Quntis Solar Deck Lights
- 4 Adhesive stickers
- Mounting hardware
- User Manual
Design and features
The lights have an aluminum frame around a plastic light with a reflector and solar panel on top.
The bottom of the Quntis solar lights has a slider switch with a soft rubber cover to protect it from the weather. The switch has three lighting positions: cool white, Blue light, and Warm light.
Note that these lights have an IP68 waterproof rating.
You can either use the included screws to screw the lights into your deck, or you can use the included 2-sided adhesive pads to stick them to your deck, sidewalk, etc.
My idea for using the Quntis solar deck lights was to use them to illuminate the steps coming out of my detached garage. When I come home in the dark and come out of the garage, it’s tough for me to see the edge of the steps, so I thought these lights could help with that.
So I set them in the appropriate spots on a nice sunny day and waited for night to fall when they would automatically turn on.
The manual states that the lights only need 4-5 hours of sunlight to charge the internal 600mAh battery and that they will stay illuminated for up to 15 hours, which is longer than all the other solar lights that I’ve reviewed so far. I was skeptical, but that night, the lights were shining brightly as soon as the sun went down.
I set the lights to the various lighting modes so I could see the difference between them. The light shown above is the warm setting. If you look at the first image in this review, you can see that the leftmost light on the top step is set to the cold setting. You’ll notice that the light has a bluer tint to it.
But it’s not as blue as the blue setting which you can see above.
I found the lights to be bright and easy to see and was completely surprised to find that they were still shining just as brightly the next morning before the sun came out.
See them in action

Final thoughts
I’m very impressed with the build quality and performance of the Quntis Solar Deck Lights. They help me see the edge of the steps in the dark which is exactly what I needed, and the fact that they shine ALL night is great.

Hmm – going to try these for my front steps because we like to turn off the bright LED strip lighting as soon as we aren’t expecting more deliveries (to help not distract migrating birds!) but sometimes Amazon comes unexpectedly really late like 9PM.
I’m hoping the 2-sided adhesive stickers work okay on concrete or brick.
The adhesive should be just fine for about anything. It’s a thick adhesive pad, not just a flat sticker.
