REVIEW β Using an iPad or Android tablet on your lap is perfectly fine, but for those times when you want to use one at your desk, you need a stand. Today I want to show you the Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub which not only props up your tablet, but adds additional functionality as well. Letβs check it out.
What is it?
The Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub is a folding stand for any tablet that has a USB-C port (although you donβt need a port to use this just as a stand).

Design and features
The Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub features a large (5Γ6 inches/13Γ16.6 cm) padded stand tablet holder that is attached to a heavy base.
Attached to the Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub is a 15 inch / 40 cm braided USB-C cable
The stand folds down relatively flat so that you can store it in a drawer when itβs not in use or take it with you wherever you go.
On the right side of the base, thereβs a USB-A data port capable of 5Gbps.
On the back edge of the Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub, youβll find the following ports:
- USB-C Power delivery
- HDMI 4K@60Hz
- USB-C data port 5Gbps
- SD card reader
- microSD card reader
This tablet stand / hub is heavy at 1 lb 10.5 oz. Itβs also very sturdy. It has two hinges that are quite stiff. You wonβt be unfolding this stand with one hand, thatβs for sure.
With both hinges, you can adjust the holder to almost any angle you want and the fact that the base is nicely weighted, you wonβt need to worry about your iPad or tablet toppling over backward.
Even when the holder is almost straight up and down like in the image above, it feels secure.
It works great in landscape orientation too.
Or even almost flat.
I hooked up my iPad using an HDMI cable (not included) to my Dell UltraWide monitor and it worked just fine. I also tried connecting a wired keyboard and most to the Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub and had no problems. The card readers worked great as well.

What I like
- Heavy, wonβt slide around or fall over
- Lots of additional expansion ports
What Iβd change
- Nothing
Final thoughts
The Minisopuru adjustable tablet stand and hub makes using your iPad or Android tablet at a desk easy, safe, and secure. This tablet stand not only allows you to position the tablet at a convenient viewing angle, but with the added ports, it greatly expands what you can do with your tablet.

The usb cable doesn’t look long enough
The USB cable plugs into the tablet, not into an AC adapter and the wall.
