REVIEW – I’ve been sitting in front of a computer for my daily work for decades. I’ve tried a variety of standing desks, and treadmill desks, but one thing I’ve never tried is a footrest. That changed recently when I was given the opportunity to review the Vitrazza Leather Footrest. Let’s lean back, prop up our feet and check it out.
What is it?
The Vitrazza Leather Footrest is a footrest that is designed to provide relief to knees, spine, and hips by providing variable options for foot positioning. These footrests are handmade in Dnipro, Ukraine by master leatherworker Bogdan Potapenko. Note that 2% of every purchase is donated to The Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, which provides urgent humanitarian help throughout Ukraine.

Design and features
The Vitrazza Leather Footrest is made of full-grain crazy horse leather and is available in two colors. There’s the brown espresso color seen here and they also have a charcoal version if you prefer a darker color. In case you’re wondering, Crazy horse leather does not actually come from a horse. It’s a cowhide that has been smoothed and waxed to enhance the leather fibers for durability.
The Vitrazza Leather Footrest is approximately 20 inches x 10 inches x 5 inches tall and weighs about 2 pounds. It’s shaped like half a log so that it can rest on the floor without rolling away.
A zipper on the bottom of the footrest allows access to the laser-cut foam insert.
The footrest features a cool patchwork construction.
So how does it feel to use the Vitrazza Leather Footrest? I am surprised by how comfortable it is. The foam insert makes the footrest firm while still providing a soft cushion for your feet. You can position your feet like you see me doing above, you can cross your heels, or even flip it over and rock it back and forth with your feet.
Either way, I found that elevating my feet even a few inches off the ground really did amp up comfort.

Final thoughts
I think that the Vitrazza Leather Footrest is a well-made leather footrest. I have no complaints about the look, construction, or its functionality. The main/only issue I have with it is the price. It’s hard to spend $200 on such a nice high quality leather item just to put on the floor for your feet to rest on. I guess it’s no different than a leather ottoman though. If the price doesn’t bother you and you want a footrest that will last for decades, this one should last a lifetime.
