REVIEW – I have the privilege of using the shower in my basement that I rebuilt. I say privilege because I am the only one who uses it and I like that. When I rebuilt it, I was not sure exactly how it would be used in terms of who would use it, so I did not think of adding waterproof Bluetooth speakers to the design to add to the relaxing experience. While hindsight is 20/20, the Tribit AquaEase Bluetooth Shower Speaker might be the perfect design add-on.

Design and features

The Tribit Aquaease Shower Speaker is a small round and compact speaker. The controls are in a circle around the outer edge of the speaker. In the middle, there is a speaker vent with a LED above and a LED screen with a clock below. On the back, there are also vents. On the top, there is a strap to hang the speaker and the ports under a rubber flap. There is also an SD slot for you to add recorded music for your listening pleasure. You can use an SD card up to 32GB.

Setup

Setting up the Tribit AquaEase Shower Speaker is very simple. I simply charged it, turned it on, connected via Bluetooth and I was good to go. I then added it to the app for additional functionality.

Performance

The Tribit AquaEase Shower Speaker looks nice and sounds pretty good. I like the LEDs that flash and follow the beat of the music. They can be turned off if that is your preference. The speaker is waterproof but not meant to be submerged in water. It is fine if water is splashed on it while you shower. it is very important to make sure that the rubber flap over the ports is properly sealed. I feel that the ports should have been at the bottom of the speaker to provide more protection.

Here is the Tribit AquaEase Bluetooth Shower Speaker in action:

What I like

  • The compact design
  • The quality of the sound from this little device
  • the ease and integrity of the Bluetooth connection
  • The LED lighting option
  • The water-resistant feature

What I’d change

  • I think that the connections should be at the bottom towards the back of the Tribit AquaEase to further provide waterproofing

Final thoughts

The Tribit AquaEase Bluetooth Shower Speaker is a great little shower speaker that sounds good and provides nice entertainment for the shower. it is waterproof and the LEDs can be turned on to add ambiance. Nice gadget!!
