REVIEW – Every home needs a stick vacuum, but if you have children or pets, it’s really non-negotiable. I run through my house at least once a day to keep the dog hair at bay. I even bought my parents a stick vac for Christmas last year, after watching them deal with the hassle of a heavy, corded vacuum or broom/dustbin. They love it! We recently tested this new model from Ganiza.
What is it?
The Ganiza cordless vacuum cleaner, model V25 has a 4-stage HEPA filtration system, three brush heads and an adjustable stick, and it’s especially light at just 2.6 pounds.

Design and features
Setup
When I first picked up the Amazon box off my front porch, I didn’t believe my new Ganiza cordless stick vacuum was inside. It was so light!
The packaging and assembly were straightforward. To charge it up, you just plug the power adapter into the vacuum and the wall.
Once charged, I clicked the power brush into the tube, and the tube into the vacuum. I like the red, quick-release buttons that show me just where the pieces fit together with an easy click. Then the stick slides to adjust to your preferred height.
Putting this Ganiza cordless stick vacuum together just took a few minutes.
Performance
The Ganiza cordless stick vacuum is very easy to use. You just pull the big red trigger to start it.
There are two speeds, which you can change by clicking the red button at the back of the handle. In my house, we really only use the more powerful suction setting. I have teenagers and two dogs, and the low-suction section doesn’t cut it here.
Of all the vacuums I’ve had, this is the easiest to empty, it’s just a quick click of a button and you empty it right into the trash. While it does fill up fast (0.7 liters), I don’t have my usual problem of dust and dog hair getting stuck up into the top of the canister, like I’ve had with other vacuums with a similar design. So far, this one empties cleanly and easily, which I appreciate.
On high power, it lasts for 11 minutes (quickly emptying twice) before needing to be charged, and after 6 minutes it feels warm to the touch (but not uncomfortably so).
On low power, it doesn’t get warm to the touch and lasts a very long time (46 minutes and 30 seconds during my test).
I really like the light at the end of the power brush (photo at the very top) for dark corners and under furniture.
And while I’ve reviewed vacuums with a lot more brush head attachments, the three included are really the essentials and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.
The brush tool is great for stairs, cars, and furniture.
The Ganiza cordless stick vacuum’s crevice tool is nice for tight spots, like between the refrigerator and the wall.
For a busy household, this vacuum is great for light clean-ups after meals or to keep pet hair under control, but it may not be enough to keep your floors in top shape on its own. I supplement this stick vac with a daily schedule on my Roborock Q7 Max robot vacuum and one or two times each week with my INSE W5 mop. However, for my parents, who don’t have any pets or teenagers, this is the perfect stick vacuum. When their current one dies, I plan to replace it with this model because of how simple, lightweight and easy to use it is.
What I like
- Very light
- Easy to set up, adjust and use
What I’d change
- Longer battery life at the highest setting
Final thoughts
The Ganiza cordless stick vacuum is a simple, lightweight vacuum that is easy to use, reasonably priced, and perfect for light clean-ups.
