NEWS – Many people’s favorite EDC pen is the Fisher Space pen due to its pressurized ink cartridge which lets you write in any angle (even upside down) and in temperatures from -30F to 250F. But if the form factor of the Space pen isn’t really your style and the price seems a bit too spendy for your budget, I have an alternative for you. It’s the Tombow AirPress ballpoint pen and like the Space pen, you can write in any angle and in dusty locations or even on wet paper. The Tombow AirPress features a piston that sends compressed air into the oil-based ink refill to eject the ink. The pen is available in Black, White, and a clear version directly from Tombow for $11.28 and it’s available in a bunch of other colors for only $8.50 from JetPens. You can find the best deal is from Amazon for a couple of colors for less than $8.00
