511 operator ax 5

NEWS – I doubt anyone would consider an axe as an important part of their EDC compared to a multi-tool. But the 5.11 Operator Compact Tactical Axe has some interesting features that make it worth looking at. First and foremost, this is a small 10-inch axe that is made of stainless steel with a black oxide coating. It also features a hammer, pry tool, inch and centimeter rulers on the handle, and a 1/4 inch hex bit driver socket (#2 Phillips + Flat Head dual bit included). The handle is notched so that you can wrap paracord around it to make a more comfortable handle, and a molded sheath is also included. It’s $120 from 511tactical.com and Amazon.
NOTE: As of 10/24/2022, this axe currently isn’t available on Amazon, but I see that the Off Grid Tools multi-tool axe is available and it’s also a LOT less expensive. It’s only $49.99 on Amazon right now and it even features a folding saw blade.

  2. It’s an over priced pallet axe with a screwdriver? What a joke, buy yourself a real pallet axe and a pocket screwdriver!
