NEWS – You may have seen the Leatherman Tread bracelet in the past. This stainless steel wearable multi-tool bracelet features treads/links that have 29 built-in tools like screwdrivers, bit drivers, and wrenches. The Leatherman Tread is a stand-alone bracelet, but you can convert it into an Apple Watch band with an adapter from BestTechTool. The adapter is available in several versions depending on the Apple Watch size, and it’s also available for other watches like Garmin and Fenix. The BestTechTool adapter is priced at $58 – $74 on Amazon depending on the type you need. You can also find cheaper alternatives to the $149 Leatherman Tread on Amazon for up to $100 less than Leatherman’s price. I have no idea about the quality of the copy-cat versions though.

Not sure who was the “first” … but I’ve been using the chronolinks version for years to wear my tread since Applewatch-1 and some of my g-shocks 🙂
