SPONSORED NEWS – Following the release of Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K 3D printer, Anycubic now cooperates with the model website MyMiniFactory to launch Tribes Edition Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K 3D resin printer, which boasts all the features of the Mono X 6K and a totally different, sleek design.
The design story
The Tribes Edition Mono X 6K adopted a black cover instead of a yellow one, the artwork on which called “Mandala”, a Sanskrit word meaning“circle”. Mandala is used in eastern religions representing a sacred space where adepts can achieve a higher state of consciousness. Mandala on the Tribes Edition Mono X 6K was created within the same spirit. It is the symbol of a community that gathers all the people interested in 3d printing to create any kind of objects with Anycubic 3d printers and enjoy the freedom brought by that. This is the very vision of Anycubic – For Freedom to Make. Besides the unique design, the printer is exclusively branded with MMF iconic Tribes logo, bringing users this one-of-a-kind, limited-edition machine.
The machine
As mentioned before, this resin printer possesses all of the same benefits as the Photon Mono X 6k.
Large Print Volume
With a huge print volume of 197 x 122 x 245 mm (approx. 5.89 liters), you can have the freedom by printing more things you like without breaking your 3D printed objects into smaller pieces and combining them together.
Ultra-fine details
A 4K resolution is now the standard for hobby resin 3D printers. But the Mono X 6K adopts a 6k resolution that can produce perfect details never before seen in consumer 3D printing. As notebookcheck.net says: “A thin human hair on the head is between 0.02 and 0.04 mm thick. A pixel of the LCD panel in the Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K has an edge length of about 0.034 mm”.
Fast print speed
Its maximum print speed can reach up to 80 mm/h. With a few more small adjustments, even more than 80 mm/h seems well within the range of possibility.
Price and availability
The Tribes Edition Mono X 6K 3D resin printer is available now on MMF via a crowdfunding campaign and Anycubic official website. It is priced at $659 for only 1,000 units. The campaign will end on Thu, January 13 2022 04:00 PM UTC.

Tribes is released by MMF recently that serves as a communication tool where Tribers are able to contact creators directly. Move fast for this limited-edition machine and great benefits!

There is no mention of what kind of 3D printer this is, but it seems to be a StereoLithography (SLA) printer. The Tribes feature seems like a membership thing, where people get help and advice. Is it necessary in the long run, though? Can one get models and run the machine if they let their membership lapse? I prefer gadgets that don’t require on-going subscriptions to work.
John, It’s a resin printer. It was mentioned in one part of the news post. I just edited it to make it more clear. As for the membership. They answered:
Thanks for tracking down that info.
