NEWS – I love plants.  I love growing flowers, veggies, and fruit trees.  While I’m pretty good at growing things outdoors, I really suck at growing things indoors.  Mostly that’s because I can’t seem to remember to water the plants, which explains why I’m so intrigued with the Tevaplanter.  It’s a water bank; that is, you fill it up with water, and it slowly feeds your plants over several days.  It’s made of porous ceramic, and the plant grows on the outside.  There’s no dirt, only water.  Julie wrote about this gadget last year, back when it was known as the Terraplanter and was in the midst of a kickstarter campaign.  Apparently it was success, because Tevaplanter is currently taking pre-orders for their next run.  Price is set at $62 for one, and there’s a discount when you order more.  It doesn’t come with any seeds, because it works with so many different types of plants, and I think I’d like to try it with a fern or a begonia.

  2. Its a scam. I ordered in 2020 and all i have received so far are occasional updates that manufacturing has been delayed, shipping is delayed, they are prioritising other orders. Reading comments on their Instagram page, Indiegogo and Kickstarter, everyone is in the same boat.
