REVIEW – My husband has struggled with back pain since he fell down a flight of stairs as a teenager. One thing that always seemed to help was a back massage. While I was happy to oblige, my hands quickly got too tired to apply the right amount of pressure to release the knots in his muscles. The Yunmai Technology Slim Elegant Massage Gun prevents this from happening. With the massager, I’m able to easily apply pressure to his knots without tiring my hands. It also allows him to be able to massage himself which gives him the ability to ease his muscle strain on his own.

Design and Features
The four heads are soft rubber and push into the front of the gun. Each has a line on its collar to show how far each must be pushed in to be secure. The line should be just visible when fully seated in the gun. If there is a gap between the line and the collar, the head needs to be pushed in further. It does take a little bit of pressure to get the head seated in the gun but that means it doesn’t fall out with all of the shaking.
The design of the gun itself is quite simple. The front of the gun has a socket to push the massage head into while the back of the gun has the control button and the four LED battery indicator. Once a head is installed, long press the power button to turn the massager on. To cycle through the different modes, short press the power button and the corresponding mode will light up. The massager has five different levels, standard mode with three levels and massage mode with two different levels.
Personally I couldn’t really tell the difference between the two modes, just the speed. The instruction manual also provides a useful guide for which head and what muscles to target. The massager automatically turns off after ten minutes as a safety precaution. It is possible to turn the massager back on and continue but their manual states a ten minute massage is long enough after a work out.
It is possible to charge the gun without the stand, just plug the base of the massage gun in rather than setting it in the charging base. The battery life on the gun is pretty amazing. While I personally haven’t drained the battery as I store it on the charging base, Yunmai claims that if used for the set ten minute session once a day, it can be stored for 84 days without needing to be recharged.

Final thoughts
This is my first experience with a massage gun and I wasn’t disappointed. The ease of use as well as the multiple heads means that it is simple to tailor its use to anyone’s needs. The Yunmai Technology Slim Elegant Massage Gun is a great portable massage gun that allows anyone to relax their muscles after a workout or a hard day at work.
