REVIEW – My large living room and TV with weak speakers makes for a poor entertainment experience. I’ve been thinking about getting a soundbar, so when the SAKOBS soundbar review offer came along, I thought I would try it first.

Design and features
It’s nice that my living room is large, however, the layout leaves much to be desired. I’ve pretty much settled on the couch being at one side, and the TV at the far end. That places me fifteen feet from the TV. Although the TV is a 55″ model, the speakers aren’t the greatest. We often watch our shows with the volume at 80 to 100%. If there are other people having conversations nearby, even 100% volume is often not enough.
The SAKOBS soundbar has been a welcomed addition to our living room. The 50W RMS speakers put out rich and robust sound. There are also three equalizer sound modes: Music, Movie, and News.
The compact design makes placement easy. Since my TV is on my bookshelf, I opted to just place the soundbar in front of the TV. However, the SAKOBS soundbar comes with mounting hardware if you wish to wall mount it.
Multiple inputs make the SAKOBS soundbar easy to connect either wired or wireless. The included aux cable can connect with your laptop, computer, projector, game system, and any other device with a 3.5mm audio jack. The included digital optical cable can connect to and TV with an optical output, which is the best choice for the highest quality audio.
If wireless is your game, the SAKOBS soundbar includes Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. A quick press of a button on the remote or on the soundbar will quickly switch source modes, for example, making it easy to switch to playing music from your phone.
If you’re looking for room-shaking sound, you may wish to look at higher-end soundbars. However, if you’re looking for an affordable soundbar for your TV or computer, the SAKOBS soundbar would fit your needs.

Overall the SAKOBS soundbar is a great little addition to my entertainment center and clearly makes up for the poor speakers on my TV.

I can’t get my soundbar to work.
Does the optical input works with Dolby or only with PCM?
I received my SB925D yesterday, and the answer to my question is, PCM only.
