REVIEW – In today’s world, it is hard to find people who are usually on the go not carrying around at least one mobile device. Folks like me carry several. Having a power source that is readily available and capable of charging multiple devices and/or recharging devices multiple times is fast becoming mandatory. The power source needs to be of high capacity, lightweight, compact, and have the ability to provide wireless charging. The Mophie Powerstation wireless XL checks all of those boxes.
What is it?
The Mophie Powerstation Wireless XL is a 10,000mAh wireless portable battery with an 18W USB-C PD port and Lightning input. It can be used to charge and power most portable devices and can itself be charged wirelessly.

On one edge of the device, there is a power button and 4 LEDs that indicate the charge level with each LED representing 25% of the charge.
On one of the short sides, there are 2 ports, an input lightning port, and a USB-C Power Delivery port.
This Powerstation is sleek and compact and works well. It recharges relatively quickly and also charges my iPhone quickly. The USB-C Power Delivery port is great for charging my USB-C devices and it is also great that the Powerstation can be recharged wirelessly and via the Lightning port. The photos below show my iPhone and my Airpods being charged by this device.
What I like

- Sleek design
- Battery capacity
- Connectivity versatility
What I’d change
- It does what it is designed to do
This portable Powerstation is really a capable and handy power source. So many times I find myself needing a charge and this device works well. Not only does it charge wirelessly, but it can be charged wirelessly. Not having to carry as many cables in my EDC gear bag is a plus. It is well built, has a decent capacity, and seems like it will last. Well done!!
