NEWS – Back in 2013, we posted a News Article highlighting Alchemy Goods, a company that was upcycling reclaimed bicycle inner tubes into bags, belts, and wallets.  Alchemy Goods is not only still selling upcycled products, but they have also expanded to some new reclaimed and surplus materials, including selvage denim, vinyl upholstery, and waxed canvas.

Although I’m still using my Alchemy Goods Georgetown Zipper Pouch, made from upcycled bike inner tubes, it appears that this particular product is no longer available.  However, Alchemy Goods does offer Zipper Pouches made from bike inner tubes in three sizes (shown above), the smallest of which is similar to my Georgetown.

In addition to their staple inner tubes, Alchemy Goods is now offering products made from selvage denim, as seen shown above, that has been reclaimed from surplus fabric that manufacturers in the textile industry sometimes over-buy, and which would otherwise end up in a landfill.

In addition to inner tubes and selvage denim, Alchemy Goods is also using reclaimed vinyl upholstery material as shown above.

All of Alchemy Goods’ products are made in the state of Washington, USA, and included a Limited Lifetime Warranty.  Their products range in price from $12 to $180.  Visit AlchemyGoods.com for more info or to order.
